Jeff Furman
has performed individually, with his wife, Janet, and
with several old-time string bands for over 30 years. His technical
abilities, quick ear, and musical sensitivity have made Jeff a popular
choice for playing on multiple recordings, including music from Ireland,
Scotland, the Appalachian Mountains, and American folk tunes. Recordings
by Jeff and Janet, both as a duo and as key members of other bands ,
have achieved critical acclaim. These recordings include: "Jory’s
Ladder", "Prettiest Girl in the County", "Spirit
of the Mountains", "Heartfelt", "Adams Delight",
and most recently, "Celtic Jewels.” Jeff's greatest reward
from playing music comes from touching the listener’s heart. He
